Does the accountant role cost extra?
No. It is free on every plan and does not use a seat.
What can an accountant change?
Nothing. The role is read-only: they can view the books and download exports, but they can't edit, send, refund or see payouts and billing.
Is this a live sync with QuickBooks or Xero?
No. It is a CSV export laid out for QuickBooks Online and Xero imports. You or your accountant import the files.
Who can download the export?
Owners, admins and accountants. Team members with the member role can't.
