Trade Starter Kits
Pick your trade and start with a price book, not a blank page.
Tell Fee-Lion what kind of work you do and it sets up a price book, estimate templates with Good / Better / Best where your trade sells in tiers, a request form and sensible defaults for how your trade gets paid. No sample clients and no fake invoices, just the setup. Then a "Get paid in 10 minutes" checklist walks you to your first payment.

Everything inside
Every facet, function & convenience.
21 trades
Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, roofing, cleaning, landscaping, solar, web design, photography, IT services, sales reps and more, plus "Something else".
A ready price book
Your trade's common services and materials with rates, grouped the way the trade quotes them.
Estimate templates
Two or three ready-to-send jobs with their lines, packages, deposit and payment schedule.
Good / Better / Best first
Trades that sell in tiers get templates with packages already built.
A request form
A form with your trade's services, switched off until you're ready to publish it.
Defaults for your trade
Payment terms, deposit percentage, hourly and cost rates, a default payment-schedule preset and estimate follow-ups on day 3, 7 and 14.
Expense categories
The categories and subcategories your trade actually spends on.
Never overwrites your changes
Applying a kit adds what's missing and leaves any setting you already changed alone. Safe to run again.
Save your own templates
Any estimate can be saved as a named template from its More menu, then renamed or removed in Settings → Starter Kit.
Start from a template
New estimates offer your templates first, with "Start blank" one click away.
Get paid in 10 minutes
A seven-step checklist that ticks itself off from your real data: trade, brand, Stripe, price book, first estimate, request form, first payment.
What's new
The help menu lists this month's releases, with a dot until you've read them.

What kind of work do you do?
It's the second step after you sign up. Pick your trade and Fee-Lion loads the price book, templates, request form and defaults that fit it. Skip it and start blank if you prefer; the same kits are in Settings → Starter Kit whenever you want one.

Your first estimate, already written
The kit's templates are real jobs for your trade, with lines, Good / Better / Best packages, a deposit and a schedule. Start a new estimate from one, change the client and the numbers, and send it.

A price book you only have to adjust
Services and materials arrive with rates and units, grouped by job. Edit the prices to yours and the palette, estimates and request forms all price from them.

Seven steps to your first payment
The "Get paid in 10 minutes" checklist sits on Getting Started and ticks each step off from your real data, so it never asks you to mark something done. Dismiss it when you're finished, or reopen it from the help menu.
Questions
The short answers.
Does a starter kit add sample clients or invoices?
No. A kit only adds reusable setup: price-book items, estimate templates, a request form, expense categories and default preferences. Your client list and documents stay empty until you add real ones.
Will it change settings I already made?
No. A kit only fills in what is missing. Any preference your team has changed is left as it is.
Can I apply a kit later, or a second one?
Yes. Settings → Starter Kit lists every trade, so you can apply one after signup or add another if you cover more than one kind of work.
Can I make my own templates?
Yes. Open any estimate and choose More → Save as template. Your templates appear when you start a new estimate.

Name your workspace, add a client, send the estimate. We'll handle the part where it turns into money.
