Payment Schedules
Split the big job into payments your client can actually say yes to.
Turn one large invoice into dated instalments: 50/50, a deposit and balance, three or four monthly payments, or your own rows. The portal asks for the next payment, auto-pay charges each one on its due date, and reminders chase the instalment that is due, not the whole total.

Everything inside
Every facet, function & convenience.
One-click presets
50 / 50, deposit + balance (25% up front, the rest in 30 days), 3 monthly or 4 monthly. Pick one and the rows fill in.
Custom rows
Your own labels, dates and amounts, as dollars or percentages. Fee-Lion checks they add up to the invoice total, to the cent.
Pay the next instalment
The client portal asks for the payment that is due now. Clients can pay more, up to the full balance, but never less than what is due.
Auto-pay per instalment
A client with a saved card is charged each instalment on its due date, including any they missed, and nothing early.
Reminders that follow the schedule
Reminder and past-due emails key off the next unpaid instalment and show its amount and date.
Partial payments still just work
Payments are applied oldest instalment first, so each row reads paid, part paid, overdue, due today or upcoming.
Proposed on the estimate
Put a schedule on the estimate and it becomes the invoice's schedule when you convert the whole job.
On every document style
The schedule table prints on the invoice PDF in all six document styles.
Card or bank
Instalments can be paid by card or, where bank payments are on, from the client's US bank account.

Four payments, one invoice
A $14,000 roof is a hard yes. Four payments of $3,600 is an easier one. Pick a preset or write your own rows, and the invoice carries the whole plan: what is paid, what is next, and when.

The portal asks for the right amount
Your client opens the invoice and the button says exactly what is due now, with the full schedule underneath. No mental maths, no "how much do I owe this month?" email. They can still pay ahead if they want to.

Auto-pay that waits for the due date
Save a card once and each instalment is charged on its own date. Nothing is charged early, and a missed instalment is picked up on the next run instead of being skipped.
Questions
The short answers.
Is this the same as financing?
No. Fee-Lion does not lend money or run credit checks. A payment schedule just splits your own invoice into dated payments that your client pays you directly.
What if a client pays a different amount?
Payments are applied to the oldest unpaid instalment first. A short payment marks that instalment part paid; an extra payment rolls into the next one.
Can I put a schedule on an estimate?
Yes. The estimate shows the proposed schedule, and when you convert the full estimate to an invoice the schedule comes with it.
Do reminders go out for the whole balance?
No. Reminders and past-due emails follow the next unpaid instalment and show that payment's amount and due date.
