The cash-flow forecast shows the money you can expect over the coming weeks, built from what’s already in Fee-Lion. There’s a card on the dashboard for the next 30 days, and a full report under Reports → Cash Forecast.
When you’d use this
Check it before you hire, buy equipment or take a quiet week, or any Monday you want to know whether the next month is covered.
How to read the report
- Pick 30, 60 or 90 days at the top.
- Read the tiles: expected in and money out for the next 30 days, the net, the weighted pipeline, and the total for the whole period.
- Look at the bars. Each one is a week. Confirmed and likely money stacks above the line, the weighted pipeline is the lighter hatched part on top, and money out hangs below.
- Click a week to see the invoices, instalments and estimates behind it, each linked to its record.
Where the numbers come from
- Confirmed: auto-pay charges and bank payments already made that are still clearing.
- Likely: open invoices on their due dates, payment-schedule instalments on their own dates, recurring invoices, retainer fees, and approved estimates that haven’t been invoiced yet.
- Pipeline: open estimates multiplied by your win rate (40% until you have five decided estimates).
- Money out: unpaid expenses and bills by due date, plus recurring expenses.
Each source has a toggle, so you can see the forecast without the pipeline or without money out. Overdue invoices are counted in the current week and discounted the later they are.
What’s at risk
The list at the bottom flags invoices more than 30 days overdue, clients who have paid late repeatedly in the last year, and instalments due in the next two weeks that aren’t on auto-pay. Send a reminder, record a payment or open the record from the same row.
Tip: Putting regular clients on auto-pay moves their money from “likely” to “confirmed”.
