For all-star cheer gyms, gymnastics teams and tumbling programs
Tuition on auto-pay. Uniforms in installments. Every comp and meet fee on its own date.
Monthly team tuition charged on its date, the uniform, bow and warm-ups package split into payments before the order is due, and the season's competition or meet entries on a plan that finishes before the events bill you. A cheerleader and a gymnast in the same family share one balance, and privates are billed from the time your coaches track.

Sound familiar?
The paperwork side of the job.
- Uniforms are ordered months ahead, and the gym card covers every athlete whose deposit is still "coming Friday".
- Competition entries are due weeks before each event, so the gym pays first and spends the winter collecting it back.
- The choreographer and the music mix send one bill per routine, and someone has to split it across every athlete on the team.
- A family with a cheerleader on Senior and a gymnast in Xcel gets bills from two places and asks what they actually owe.
- Commitment fees, bows, hotel blocks and coach travel arrive by Venmo, check and a form, and get reconciled on Sunday night.
A real example
What an invoice looks like.
Line by line, the way you’d actually bill it: quantity times rate, tax worked out for you.
- Your client opens one link and pays by card.
- Reminders go out on their own until it’s paid.
- Your logo, your terms, and your line items saved for next time.

How Fee-Lion fits
The parts that do the heavy lifting.
Tuition that charges itself
One recurring invoice per family with each athlete's team tuition or classes on it, charged to the saved card or bank account on its date.
More on online paymentsSeason fees in installments
The uniform, bow and warm-ups package, or the season's competition entries, on one invoice with a payment schedule: three or six payments, each with its own date and reminder.
More on payment schedulesCommitment signed, deposit paid
Send the season as an estimate with your team policies. The family signs the commitment and pays the deposit in the same step, and the deposit is credited when the invoice is created.
More on e-signaturesOne balance per family
Statements show each family their running balance across tuition, team fees and one-offs. A missed event or a fundraiser credit goes on as a credit note.
More on credit notes & statementsPrivates from tracked time
Coaches time private lessons as they teach them; the month's lessons become invoice lines in one move.
More on time trackingTryout and trial requests
A "Book a free trial class" or tryout form on your website asks for the athlete's age and experience and lands as a request you can follow up.

How it actually plays out.
- A parent books a free trial class or a tryout from the form on your website. You follow up from the request.
- Placements go out in May: send each family the season as an estimate with your team policies. They sign the commitment and pay the deposit from one link.
- Set up the family's monthly tuition once, with the sibling's tumbling class and discount on the same bill. It charges on its date.
- The uniform package goes on a three-payment schedule and the competition entries on six, each charged on its date and finished before the order and the events are due.
- Coaches time privates as they teach them; at month end the hours become invoice lines.
- On the 1st, every family with a balance gets a statement. An event the athlete missed? A credit note on the next bill.

Questions
What people ask before they switch.
How do cheer and gymnastics gyms usually bill?
Most bill monthly tuition for practice or classes, then a separate season of team fees on top: uniform and bows, choreography and music, competition or meet entries, memberships and travel. In Fee-Lion, tuition is a recurring invoice per family, and the bigger season fees go on invoices with payment schedules.
Can uniform and competition fees be split into payments?
Yes. Put the fee on an invoice and add a payment schedule, for example three payments for the uniform package or six for the season's entries. Each payment has its own due date and reminder, and families on auto-pay are charged on each date.
How do I split a choreography or music fee across the team?
Divide the team cost by the athletes on the routine and bill each athlete's share as its own line, so families see what the share is for. Fee-Lion adds the line to each family's invoice; it does not split a team cost for you yet.
Can I add one fee to a whole team at once?
Not in Fee-Lion today: each family's invoice carries its own lines. Team rosters, adding a fee to every athlete on a team in one step and splitting a team cost per athlete are what Mat Dues, the cheer and gym edition, is being built to do.
Does Fee-Lion handle placements, rosters or attendance?
No. Fee-Lion handles billing and payments: tuition, team fees, deposits, payment plans, credits and statements. Athletes appear by name on the invoice lines, but there are no team rosters, class schedules or attendance. Keep your gym software for those.
