For travel and club team treasurers, managers and small club directors
Season dues in installments. Tournament and travel fees on time. Team money off your Venmo.
For the team treasurer or club director: season dues split into installments and charged on autopay, tournament entries and uniform kits billed before the deadline, the stay-to-play hotel block on its own payment plan, and fundraiser credits taken off a family's next bill. Payments go to the team's bank account, with a receipt every time.

Sound familiar?
The paperwork side of the job.
- Sixteen families pay the commitment deposit by Venmo, Zelle and check, and the treasurer cross-checks a spreadsheet against three apps.
- The uniform supplier wants payment in full before it ships, so the team account covers the two families who haven't paid yet.
- Three tournaments, two of them stay-to-play: entry fees, room nights and a bus deposit, each split a different way, all in a group chat.
- Team money lands in a volunteer's personal account, mixed with their own.
- The season ends, the treasurer steps down, and next year's volunteer inherits a spreadsheet and a list of who still owes for the banquet.
A real example
What an invoice looks like.
Line by line, the way you’d actually bill it: quantity times rate, tax worked out for you.
- Your client opens one link and pays by card.
- Reminders go out on their own until it’s paid.
- Your logo, your terms, and your line items saved for next time.

How Fee-Lion fits
The parts that do the heavy lifting.
Season dues in installments
The season's dues on one invoice per family with a payment schedule: a deposit at commitment and four installments, each with its own date and reminder.
More on payment schedulesAutopay to the team's account
Parents save a card or US bank account once and each installment charges itself. Payouts go to the bank account you connect, which should be the team's, not yours.
More on online paymentsCommitment signed, deposit paid
Send the player commitment as an estimate with the season's fees and your refund policy. Parents sign it and pay the deposit in the same step.
More on e-signaturesTournaments and kits before the deadline
A tournament entry or uniform kit goes out as an invoice with a due date before the entry or order deadline, and the reminders go out on their own.
More on invoicingFundraiser credits and statements
Raffle sales or a sponsor a family brought in go on as a credit note against their balance. Statements show each family what they have paid and what is left.
More on credit notes & statementsBooks that outlast the treasurer
Every invoice, payment and receipt stays in the team's workspace. Add next season's treasurer as a team member and they start with the full history.

How it actually plays out.
- Rosters go out in the summer: send each family the player commitment with the season's fees and your refund policy. They sign it and pay the deposit from one link.
- The season's dues go on one invoice per family with four installments, October to January, charged to the card or bank account on file.
- The uniform order is due in September: each family gets an invoice for the kit with a due date before the order date, and the reminders go out on their own.
- Tournament season: each entry and the hotel block go out with their own dates, the hotel block on three payments so nobody pays it all at once.
- A family sells $600 in raffle tickets and earns a $60 credit: a credit note, and their next bill is $60 smaller.
- In June, the treasurer hands over a workspace with every invoice, payment and receipt in it, not a spreadsheet and a bank login.

Questions
What people ask before they switch.
Should team money go through my personal Venmo?
It is better not to. Team money in a personal account is hard to account for and mixes with your own. With Fee-Lion, families pay by card or bank and the payouts go to the bank account you connect, which should be the team's own account. Ask your club or league whether it has rules about team accounts.
Can parents pay season dues in installments?
Yes. Put the season's dues on an invoice with a payment schedule, for example a commitment deposit and four monthly installments. Each one has its own due date and reminder, and families on autopay are charged on each date.
Can one player's fees be split between two households?
Not automatically today. You can send each household its own invoice for its share, and both see their own payments. Split payers on one player balance are planned for Sideline Dues, the team-treasurer edition.
Can I add one fee to the whole roster at once?
Not in Fee-Lion today: each family's invoice carries its own lines. A team roster and one fee assigned to every player in one step are what Sideline Dues is being built to do.
Does Fee-Lion replace TeamSnap or SportsEngine?
No. Keep them for schedules, chat and registration. Fee-Lion handles the money after sign-up: dues, tournaments, uniforms, travel, credits and statements. There is no integration with them.
