Get a morning digest email

Dashboard Email Notifications

The Fee-Lion dashboard the morning digest summarises: money owed, payments in and estimates pending.

The morning digest is a short email that arrives around 7am in your own time zone and tells you what needs you today. It only sends on days with something to report, so a quiet day means a quiet inbox.

What’s in it

  • Overdue invoices: how many, the total, and how many days late each one is.
  • Due in the next three days: invoices about to fall due, so you can nudge before they slip.
  • Payments received yesterday: who paid and how much.
  • Estimate decisions: estimates clients approved or declined since yesterday.
  • Recurring invoices going out today: what your schedules will send.
  • Also on your plate: estimates still awaiting approval, unbilled time and unpaid expenses, for context.

Every line links straight to the record, so you can send a reminder or open the invoice from the email.

Turn it on or off

  1. Open Settings → Profile.
  2. Under Morning digest, choose On or Off.
  3. Save. Your time zone is taken from your browser when you save, so 7am means 7am where you are.

The digest is on by default for workspace owners. Admins and members get it once they switch it on. If you belong to more than one workspace, you get one digest per workspace.

Tip: Teammates who chase payments should switch it on. The overdue and due-soon lists are their to-do list for the morning.

FAQ

Why didn’t I get one today?

Nothing changed overnight and nothing is overdue or due soon, so there was nothing worth sending. It also doesn’t send if you’ve turned off email notifications altogether.

Do clients or my accountant get it?

No. It goes to team members only: owners, admins and members.

Can I get it at a different time?

Not yet. It always arrives around 7am in your time zone.
